A traveller had large sums of cash seized during boarding at Arlanda. The incident occurred as the person was about to board an international flight.
– It is a five-figure amount, states Robert Sennerdal, press officer at Stockholm police, to Expressen.
Police suspect the cash originates from criminal activity. The traveller was allowed to continue his flight, but is now suspected of money laundering or commercial money laundering.
The seizure was made during ongoing boarding at the airport.
