Three men in their twenties have been arrested on suspicion of murder following a fatal assault at a swimming venue in Mölnlycke over the weekend.
The men were apprehended during the night and are now detained on probable cause on suspicion of involvement in the fatality, according to deputy chief prosecutor Niklas Högdén, speaking to Göteborgs-Posten.
A man was killed in connection with the assault. The victim is said to have provided information before he died, which enabled police to identify the suspected perpetrators, according to Expressen.
Police have not disclosed the exact circumstances that led to the fatality or what happened at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
