Three young men have been taken in by police after a person died as a result of assault at a swimming area in Mölnlycke over the weekend. The prosecutor suspects all three of fatal violence.
– The arrests took place during the night. We have good witness statements to work with in this case, says Fredrik Berglund, senior prosecutor.
In addition to the three in custody, police have also taken a man in his twenties into their care. Against him, suspicions are being directed for having helped the suspected perpetrators.
The incident occurred at a swimming area in Mölnlycke. The authorities have not yet released information about what preceded the death or whether any conflict arose before the violence broke out.
Fredrik Berglund at the Public Prosecution Authority in Gothenburg is leading the investigation.
