Three arrested for serious arson in Karlstad
A fire broke out on Tuesday in a student residence located in Kronoparken in Karlstad. One person suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital, where he is now being treated in intensive care.
Police have arrested three people, all in their twenties. They are suspected of serious arson on the lesser degree of reasonable suspicion.
The fire service was called to the scene to extinguish the blaze. The extent of damage to the building has not yet been established.
An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the fire and any possible involvement by those arrested.
