Three men in their twenties have been remanded in custody on suspicion of murder and attempted murder following a fatal brawl at a bathing spot in Stenungsund.

One person has died and three men in their twenties are now in remand. Prosecutor Johan Fröjelin announced on Sunday that the men have been arrested on probable grounds for both murder and attempted murder. This is reported by Aftonbladet.
The confrontation took place at a bathing spot in Stenungsund. What began as an exchange of words between several people spiralled out of control and turned into a violent scuffle. During the tumult, two people were injured so severely that they had to be transported to hospital by ambulance. One of them could not be saved and died later from their injuries.
Police have plenty of witness statements to work with. A large number of people were in the area when the violence broke out, and interviews with several of them have already been conducted.
"We have even more interviews to conduct. There were a large number of people at the location and many witnessed parts of what happened," Fröjelin told TT.
The investigation is ongoing to establish exactly how the fatal incident occurred and what role each of the remanded individuals played.
