A man in his 40s is receiving treatment for life-threatening injuries after falling from a balcony in a multi-family residence in Hässelby in western Stockholm overnight between Saturday and Sunday. The incident was reported at around 23:00 on Saturday evening. The man was taken to hospital by ambulance after falling from the third floor in circumstances that remain unclear.
A man in his 50s and a woman in her 40s were arrested at the same property and have subsequently been held on suspicion of attempted murder. According to police spokesperson Ola Österling, they appear to know the injured man, but the exact nature of their relationship is now under investigation. The scene remains cordoned off and crime scene examination is ongoing.
