A teenager has been prosecuted at Linköping district court for incitement to murder. He is accused of using Signal to search for people who could carry out fatal assignments in several Swedish cities and abroad.

An 18-year-old has been brought before court in Linköping, accused of attempting to get others to commit murder. During a period in mid-June, he is said to have posted messages in the encrypted service Signal in which he sought contact with individuals willing to kill.
According to Corren, the man used a street term to refer to murder. He is said to have stated that there were jobs to carry out in the capital, on the west coast, in Östergötland, and abroad.
The prosecutor's documents show that the young man offered compensation ranging from 15,000 to a full one million Swedish kronor. It is also said to have been made clear how the promise of payment would be distributed. In private conversations, he is also said to have specified what different assignments entailed and what requirements were placed on the person who would carry them out.
The trial takes place at Linköping district court after the prosecutor brought charges.
