The incident occurred in the afternoon in the Kranj area when a 44-year-old and 48-year-old woman came to blows. The fight began with a physical confrontation, after which the 48-year-old attacked and injured the 44-year-old woman with a sharp object. Multiple police patrols responded to the scene and the 48-year-old was detained on the spot.
On Wednesday evening, both were brought before the duty investigating judge of the Kranj district court. The 48-year-old was brought with a criminal charge on the well-founded suspicion of attempted murder – the investigating judge remanded her in custody. The same fate befell the 44-year-old, whom police have well-founded suspicions of committing the criminal offence of assault.
The circumstances of the case were confirmed on Wednesday by the Kranj police authority.
