According to reports, on Friday, 9 October, at approximately 20:45, two masked men robbed a shop in the Planina area of Kranj. The Kranj Police Directorate was notified of the incident three minutes later, at 20:48.
Both perpetrators wore pulled-down balaclavas with eye openings over their heads and carried a bag. They demanded money from the staff, reinforcing their demand with pistols in their hands.
Police are currently unable to confirm whether the weapons were real pistols or imitations.
The perpetrators took the money and left the scene. No one was physically injured in the robbery.
Officers secured the scene and conducted an inspection. The investigation into the circumstances of the crime is ongoing, and the perpetrators have not yet been traced.
Police are appealing to anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the Planina area of Kranj or who could help with the identification of the perpetrators to provide information to Kranj Police Station on 04 233 64 00, call 113 or the anonymous police line 080 1200.
Police will inform the competent state prosecutor's office of their investigation findings.
