An armed man robbed a security guard at a border shop in Kuzma on Friday and fled into the woods. Police are searching intensively for the perpetrator and urge residents to exercise caution.

According to Google News SI — Crime, an armed robbery took place in Kuzma on Friday, 4 September, shortly before midday. An unknown man approached a security guard at a border shop and stole the daily takings from him.
After the robbery, the perpetrator fled on foot behind the shop in the direction of the woods. The Murska Sobota Police Directorate immediately secured the scene of the incident, gathered initial information and established checkpoints in the surrounding area.
Description of perpetrator
Police have released a description of the sought man. He is approximately 170 centimetres tall and was wearing black clothing at the time of the robbery. He wore a mask with eye holes across his entire face. During the robbery, he spoke with a Styrian accent.
Appeal to residents for caution
As the man is armed, police explicitly urge residents not to attempt to make contact with him on their own. Anyone who has any information about the incident or the perpetrator is urged to report it immediately to the emergency number 113 or to the police anonymous line 080 1200.
The search operation in the area of Kuzma was still ongoing at the time of publication.
