An intensive police operation is underway in Kuzmi following an armed robbery that occurred on Friday, 4 September, shortly before 12 o'clock. According to reports, an armed man approached a security guard at a border shop and stole the day's takings.

After committing the robbery, the perpetrator fled on foot behind the shop building in the direction of the forest. Officers immediately secured the scene, gathered initial information, and established roadblocks in the surrounding area. The search operation is ongoing.

Description of perpetrator

The Murska Sobota Police Administration has released a description of the wanted man. He is approximately 170 centimetres tall and was wearing black clothing during the robbery. He had a mask covering his entire face with a cutout for the eyes. During the incident, he spoke with a Styrian accent.

Police urge caution

Because the man is armed, police strongly urge residents not to attempt contact with him. Police ask anyone with any information about the incident or the perpetrator to report it immediately to the emergency number 113 or the anonymous hotline 080 1200.
