Altercation at petrol station in Novo Mesto: three neighbours, a stick and an injured employee
Police have revealed the identities of three individuals involved in Friday's altercation on Belokranjska Road. All are Slovenian citizens and neighbours in a mutual dispute.

Google News SI — Crime reports that the Friday altercation at a Petrol petrol station in Novo Mesto's Žabja vas district is taking on new dimensions following the Novo Mesto Police Directorate's submission of supplementary findings.
Officers were notified on Friday, 21 August, shortly after 19:30 of an altercation in a public place on Belokranjska Road. The operations and communications centre immediately dispatched a unit to the scene, which restored public order and identified all those involved.
These are a 34-year-old, an 18-year-old and a 42-year-old man — all three were identified by police as neighbours who know one another and are in a mutual dispute. According to findings gathered to date, the 34-year-old was on the terrace of a catering establishment when the other two arrived. He went into the interior of the petrol station behind the sales counter; the 18-year-old and 42-year-old followed him.
Initially there was a verbal dispute which escalated into an exchange of blows. One of those involved used a stick during the altercation. The interior of the petrol station was also damaged.
All three participants suffered minor injuries; emergency responders treated them at the scene. A minor injury was also sustained by an employee of the petrol station, who did not require medical assistance at the scene.
The individuals involved lodged criminal complaints against one another during the procedure. Officers are still investigating all circumstances of the offences of violence and minor bodily injury; the investigation is not yet concluded. Following the completion of information gathering, police will act in accordance with their remit.
The Novo Mesto Police Directorate has confirmed that all persons dealt with are citizens of Slovenia.
