Fight in Kranj: knife and tear gas used outside bar, police seize evidence
On Monday evening, several people fought outside a bar in Kranj; one used a sharp object, another tear gas. Police are conducting both a misdemeanour and criminal proceedings.

According to 24ur, on Monday around 10 p.m. a fight broke out outside a bar in Kranj involving at least four individuals. Roland Brajič, a representative of the local police authority, commented on the incident.
A 36-year-old and a 40-year-old man initially became involved in the dispute. The younger man inflicted a superficial bodily injury on the older man using a sharp object. When a 48-year-old man intervened, attempting to calm both of them, a 36-year-old woman sprayed both the mediator and the 40-year-old man with tear gas.
The 40-year-old man subsequently withdrew into the interior of the bar and waited there for police to arrive. The injured party received medical care at the scene.
Several police patrols arrived at the location. Officers carried out an inspection of the scene and seized the sharp object and tear gas, which will serve as evidence in the further proceedings.
In connection with the incident, police are conducting both misdemeanour and criminal proceedings. Once all information has been collected, the findings from the criminal proceedings will be forwarded to the competent district state prosecutor's office, Brajič stated.
