Trnava regional criminal police have charged four recidivists with unlicensed manufacture and trafficking in narcotic and psychotropic substances, as reported by ta3.com. The result is the outcome of months of investigative and search operations within the police operation codenamed ARMATA.
The investigator filed a motion for custody proceedings against all four accused, which the judge granted. If found guilty, they face a sentence of deprivation of liberty from 8 to 20 years.
According to the investigation to date, the accused regularly and in large quantities secured and distributed amphetamine to other dealers and end users, particularly in the districts of Dunajská Streda and Galanta.
The coordinated operation involved members of the Rapid Response Police Units from Trnava, Nitra and Banská Bystrica, the Special Purpose Unit of the Police Force Headquarters and the criminal police from Dunajská Streda.
During the operation, police conducted multiple house searches, searches of other premises and personal searches. They seized cash, mobile telephones, digital evidence storage devices, plastic bags containing substance of unknown composition and other evidence related to drug-related criminal activity. All seized items will be subject to expert examination.
