Andruskó in court: Gašpar and Kováčik were to cover up murders
Crown witness Zoltán Andruskó testified that Tibor Gašpar was to tell him through an intermediary to remain silent about a murder. Kováčik was to ensure impunity for a planned murder of a prosecutor.

Crown witness in the case of the murder of Ján Kuciak, Zoltán Andruskó, testified on Monday before the court that Tibor Gašpar was to tell him through an intermediary not to testify about the murder of Hurbanovo's former mayor L. Basternák — otherwise he would meet the same fate. According to Aktuality, these are the first allegations of this kind that were heard directly during court proceedings in this case.
Regarding Dušan Kováčik, Andruskó stated that he was to ensure impunity for a planned murder of prosecutor Maroš Žilinka.
