A man from Banská Bystrica first smashed a shop window to get an energy drink, then after receiving a suspended sentence broke into a stranger's home, drank alcohol and fell asleep. The court deported him from Slovakia.

Police in Banská Bystrica informed of a case involving a repeat offender who committed another criminal act just hours after being released from court proceedings. Details of the case were reported by Slovak Spectator.
A man broke a shop window in Banská Bystrica in the middle of the night to take an energy drink. The court found him guilty of this act and imposed a two-month prison sentence with a twelve-month conditional suspension. However, his release was short-lived.
Before even a full day had passed since the court decision, he damaged the locked door of a family home, forced his way inside, consumed alcohol and subsequently fell asleep there. Police officers detained him on the spot.
Due to the repeated unlawful behaviour, the court changed its approach and decided to deport the man from Slovak territory. Police informed the public of this decision on social media.
