Bratislava III: heroin near garages, woman taken to investigator

As bratislavak.sk reported, police officers from the District Police Directorate in Bratislava III took action against the sale and distribution of drugs in one of the local areas – and they were led to the case by reports directly from local residents.

Over the past few days, patrols carried out activities in accordance with the law on Mikovíniho, Kraskova, Pionierska and Sibírska streets. During a check near garages on Pionierska street, police officers noticed a woman surrounded by several other people. By their appearance and the way they moved, they gave the impression of using narcotic or psychotropic substances.

After deciding to check the people present, some of them voluntarily surrendered heroin. All those detained were restricted in their personal freedom and taken for further procedural steps.

An investigator brought charges against the woman spotted near the garages for drug distribution and sale. At the same time, a motion was filed recommending her pre-trial detention.

Police used the case as an appeal to the public as well. "We recommend citizens not to hesitate and contact us via private message on the Facebook page Polícia SR Bratislavský kraj if they suspect that this type of criminal activity is taking place in their vicinity," police stated.
