Robbery in Košice: man robbed after casino win, four suspects charged
Košice police have solved a robbery from 31 May in which a group of men robbed a casino winner. Four suspects were detained, with three remanded in custody.

Košice detectives have solved a robbery that took place on Sunday 31 May in Košice, according to ta3.com. A group of offenders identified their victim directly in one of the local gaming establishments, where the man had won cash.
Under the pretext of offering him a ride, they lured him into a vehicle and drove him to a more remote location outside the city centre. When the victim grew suspicious, he attempted to flee.
"However, the individuals pursued him and deprived him of cash, a mobile phone, a payment card, house keys and other personal items. The victim suffered damages exceeding €2000," Košice regional police stated on social media.
Thanks to the rapid response of patrols, the securing of evidence and the examination of CCTV footage, the suspects were located and apprehended shortly after the crime was committed.
An investigator from the Criminal Police Department of the Regional Police Directorate in Košice brought charges against four men for the crime of robbery committed in the form of joint perpetration. The court decided to remand three of the accused in custody; in the case of the fourth person, the court rejected the prosecution's request.
