A thirty-year-old man attacked a woman between the villages of Soľ and Jastrabie nad Topľou, pushed her over and snatched her bag. He was detained within a short time.

A thirty-year-old man faces a sentence of three to eight years imprisonment for robbery that occurred on Tuesday evening between the villages of Soľ and Jastrabie nad Topľou in Vranov district.
The perpetrator attacked a woman at a location beyond the bridge over the Topľa river. He grabbed her by the hand, pushed her forcefully and when she fell to the ground, he snatched her bag from her hand. He then fled in the direction of the local railway station.
Police officers managed to quickly identify and apprehend the perpetrator. After his detention, they carried out all necessary procedural steps.
He is currently waiting in police custody for further proceedings. An investigator has already submitted a proposal for detention on remand.
