Bratislava police have launched a search for a person who could help clarify fraud in which unknown perpetrators defrauded a woman of 11,000 euros.

Police seek man in connection with financial fraud in Pezinok

Bratislava police released a video on social media appealing for help in identifying a man who could assist in clarifying a case of financial fraud. This was reported by the Topky.sk portal.

Investigators from the criminal police department in Pezinok are working on a fraud case committed through joint perpetration. Unknown perpetrators contacted the injured woman by telephone with an offer to increase the value of her investments. Under this pretext, they persuaded her to hand over cash in the amount of 11,000 euros, which they subsequently collected on Cajlanska Street in Pezinok.

In connection with this criminal offence, police are asking the public for help in identifying the person captured in the released video. Citizens who have any information about their identity, current movement or whereabouts are urged to report it to the emergency line 158, in person at any police station, or via a message on social media.
