Thursday's anti-drugs police operation resulted in charges against four people. They are suspected of manufacturing and selling narcotic and psychotropic substances without authorisation. The operation, named Courier, took place on 11 June under the leadership of the National Anti-Drugs Unit of the Police Force Presidium. Details were provided by TASR based on information from the Communications and Prevention Department.
During the operation, four searches took place in homes and five further searches in other premises and on plots of land. Police officers seized methamphetamine, communications devices and a sum of money. This evidence will serve the further investigation.
Currently, questioning of the suspects is ongoing. Only after its completion will a motion to remand the accused in custody be put forward. As the investigation is still ongoing, the authorities responsible for criminal proceedings have not yet disclosed further details.
