Three Poles suspected of murder in Kraków arrested in Bratislava's Petržalka district
Slovak police arrested three Polish nationals on Friday night suspected of a murder in Kraków's Nowa Huta district. The men were hiding in a flat on Šustekova Street in Petržalka.

Slovak police arrested three Polish nationals on Friday, 28 August, suspected of a murder that took place on the night of 20–21 August in Kraków's Nowa Huta district. The Bratislava police spokesman Szeiff informed about this, and the case was also recorded by Google News SK – Crime (sk).
A group of attackers allegedly physically assaulted a 36-year-old man. He subsequently succumbed to his injuries. The perpetrators fled the scene.
Over the following days, Kraków police received operational information suggesting that the three suspects were located in Bratislava. "In recent days, Kraków police officers obtained operational information according to which three individuals, reasonably suspected of involvement in the given act, are to be found in Bratislava," said Szeiff.
After verifying and confirming the information, Bratislava regional criminal police arrested the men on Friday in a flat on Šustekova Street in Petržalka. As it could not be ruled out that they were armed, police officers from the Bratislava Rapid Response Police Unit assisted in the operation. Coercive measures were used, but no persons were injured.
A search confirmed that two of the men featured in Kraków inquiries for the purposes of international extradition. The third was listed as a missing minor sought by Polish authorities. All three were subsequently escorted to the relevant police department and handed over to representatives of Kraków police.
