City police officers in Košice on Monday morning caught a man who was the subject of a state police search. He was hiding in the ruins of a former meat plant on Napájadlá Street.

City police officers in Košice on Monday morning caught a man who was the subject of a state police search. He was hiding in the ruins of a former meat plant on Napájadlá Street.
According to a report from the Korzár portal, officers from the Nad jazerom division received a tip on 29 June during their shift that a person they were looking for was in their jurisdiction. They decided to search locations where such people typically hide.
Their search came to an end shortly before seven o'clock. In the collapsed building, which homeless people use for shelter, they noticed a man who matched the description of the wanted person.
The patrol immediately identified him. Through the operations centre, they confirmed that an arrest warrant against him was in force from the municipality of Krásna nad Hornádom.
The man was subsequently handed over to colleagues from the district state police department in Košice for further action.
