Bratislava police are investigating a case of a driver who, under the influence of narcotics, damaged a luxury vehicle dealership. According to Google News SK — Crime (sk), the accident occurred early Wednesday morning on Stará Vajnorská street in Bratislava.
A patrol was called shortly after 5:00 a.m. "According to information gathered so far, a 30-year-old driver, for reasons that have not yet been precisely established, departed from the roadway and collided during driving with an information sign and subsequently with a ramp of the luxury vehicle dealership," said Bratislava regional police spokesman Michal Szeiff. No one involved was injured.
A breathalyser test for the presence of alcohol came back negative. However, a preliminary test for narcotics and psychotropic substances came back positive for the man.
Police restricted the driver's personal liberty and escorted him to the relevant department. Officers from the District Headquarters of the Police Force in Bratislava II are investigating further circumstances of the case.
