Four drugs in system, zero alcohol – driver's licence confiscated

Police in Močenok stopped a 33-year-old female driver of a Škoda Octavia in the early hours because she was not fastened with a seatbelt. As nitrak.sk reports, a routine check quickly turned into a drugs-driving case.

A breath test showed zero alcohol levels – 0.00 mg/l. However, a drugs screening test produced different results: it showed the presence of amphetamine, methamphetamine and cocaine.

Police took the woman to hospital for medical examination. "The examination confirmed the presence of narcotic substances amphetamine, methamphetamine, cocaine and ecstasy," police stated in an official statement.

The driver's licence was confiscated at the scene and she was banned from driving. Police officers drew up a report on the results of the investigation into the infringement. Biological material was sent for expert examination.
