Google News SK — Crime (sk) reports that on Friday, 28 August, a 54-year-old woman lost her life in one of the municipalities in Trenčín district. Regional police spokeswoman Ingrid Krajčíková informed the news agency TASR of the incident.
The act occurred in the evening hours. "The duty officer, immediately upon receiving the report, dispatched police patrols to the scene. Officers, in accordance with the law, restricted the personal liberty of a 55-year-old suspect, who was placed in police custody," Krajčíková said.
An investigator from the Criminal Police Department of the Regional Police Directorate of the Police Force in Trenčín initiated criminal proceedings for the particularly serious crime of murder. "At present, the necessary procedural steps are being carried out to properly clarify the facts of the case. Due to the ongoing investigation, it is not possible to provide further information," Krajčíková added.
