Man arrested in Albina following assault at funfair in Moengo
A 41-year-old man was arrested on 15 September 2026 on suspicion of grievous bodily harm during a funfair on 11 September.

Politie.sr reports that police from Moengo station apprehended the 41-year-old M.R., known as 'Brio', in Albina on Tuesday 15 September 2026 on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. The arrest followed a complaint from the 40-year-old victim M.B., who had reported to the police station the same day.
The incident took place on Friday 11 September 2026 during a funfair visit. According to M.B.'s account, he was questioned by the suspect about the contents of his bag. After the victim answered and M.R. had looked in the bag, the suspect struck him in the face with his fist. M.B. then walked away, but collapsed into unconsciousness shortly afterwards.
A day later, the victim discovered video footage of the incident on social media. In the footage, M.R. can be seen sitting on top of the unconscious M.B. and repeatedly striking him in the face. A doctor provided medical treatment at the scene.
After consultation with the Public Prosecution Service, M.R. was remanded in custody.
