Man arrested for identity theft and fraud in Valencia, Carabobo

Arrested with fake identification card in Valencia neighbourhood
According to radiomundial.com.ve, officers from the Carabobo State Police Corps arrested Antonio José Higuera Salas in the Canta Claro neighbourhood, Calicanto sector, Rafael Urdaneta parish, in Valencia.
The subject was apprehended in flagrante delicto after presenting falsified identity documents whilst attempting to impersonate another person. During routine verification, officers confirmed that Higuera Salas was wanted by courts in Carabobo state for the crimes of aggravated fraud and criminal association.
In the operation, authorities seized a laminated identity card and an iPhone 17 Pro Max in blue, both recorded as evidence of criminal interest.
The case was reported to the Seventh and Thirty-second State Prosecutors' Offices of the Public Ministry.
