Murder suspect wanted for two killings fatally shot by police in Christiana, Manchester
A man known as 'Richie', wanted for a shopkeeper's murder and on bail for another homicide, was shot dead by police on Wildman Street in Christiana.

Wanted murder suspect killed in Christiana police confrontation
A man wanted for murder and already on bail for a separate homicide was fatally shot by police on Wildman Street in Christiana, Manchester, on Monday afternoon, the Jamaica Observer reports.
Officers acting on intelligence arrived at a bar on Wildman Street at approximately 3:15 pm in search of the suspect, known by the alias 'Richie'. He was confronted them armed, police said, and was shot dead during the encounter. A firearm was recovered at the scene.
'Richie' had been on bail in connection with the September 4, 2024 murder of Romario White, a 29-year-old killed at a bar in Christiana.
He was also wanted over the July 24, 2026 shooting death of a shopkeeper in Alston, northwest Clarendon. Police believe that killing was a contract murder, with the suspect identified as the shooter.
