A 43-year-old businesswoman from Orange Hill, Brown's Town, St Ann has been charged with multiple fraud offences linked to an alleged United States work-and-travel scheme, the Jamaica Observer reports.

Snovia Campbell is accused of collecting payments from three individuals between 2023 and 2024 for US work-and-travel opportunities and visa appointment fees. The complainants paid a combined total of US$3,600 and J$161,000 but received neither the promised services nor any refunds.
