Two women and a one-year-old boy died after gunmen firebombed and shot up homes on Kidd Lane in St Andrew's Two Mile area late Thursday night.

Two women and a one-year-old child were killed after gunmen set fire to and opened fire on residential homes on Kidd Lane in the Two Mile area of St Andrew, jamaica-gleaner.com reports.
The victims have been identified as Lashane Ellis, 30, her one-year-old son Kaheel Daley, and neighbour Kimeisha Gibson, 39, all of Kidd Lane.
According to residents, the attack began at around 11:30 p.m. when armed men approached the house where Ellis and her son were staying, opened fire, and then set the building alight. Before fleeing, the gunmen also shot at the neighbouring property, killing Gibson.
Ellis' mother, Natasha Hall, told jamaica-gleaner.com that her daughter called her from inside the burning house, pleading: "Mommy throw water pan the house fi me, please me a beg you, throw water pan di house." Ellis was later found beneath a burnt-out mattress, clutching the body of her young son.
The Member of Parliament for St Andrew South West described the incident as a "tragedy" and called those responsible "monsters."
"The question that is left to be asked is who are these persons who did it? Were they born of a mother, do they have sisters, what's going through their heads [and] how did they became these monsters?" the MP said.
The MP appealed to anyone with information about the attack, or who witnessed anything suspicious, to contact the police.
