162 Synthetic Drug Sachets Seized in Marsa, Three Arrested
Police arrested three people in Marsa after finding 162 sachets of suspected synthetic drugs during targeted patrols. A 25-year-old woman, a Bormla resident, and a Nigerian man were detained.

Three people are in custody after police found 162 sachets of suspected synthetic drugs during targeted patrols in Marsa, Lovin Malta reports.
Officers first spotted a suspicious 25-year-old Marsa resident in Triq Diċembru 13. While being spoken to, she allegedly tried to hide something beneath a bandage on her leg. A search uncovered 21 sachets of a substance suspected to be synthetic drugs, and she was immediately arrested.
Police then accompanied her to a property in Triq il-Ġerrejja. Upon entry, officers found additional people inside and arrested two more individuals: a 32-year-old woman from Bormla and a 34-year-old Nigerian man residing in Qrendi.
A search of the man's bag allegedly produced a further 141 sachets of suspected synthetic drugs along with two mobile phones. Officers subsequently searched his Qrendi residence, where they found another four mobile phones and three pills suspected to be ecstasy.
All three were taken to Police Headquarters in Floriana. Investigations are continuing.
