Murder arrest in Solihull after man found dead in Shustoke Road

A man in his 40s was found dead in Shustoke Road, Solihull, following a street disorder on Saturday. A 38-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman have been arrested.

A 38-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a man in Solihull, West Midlands, bbc.co.uk reports.

West Midlands Police were called to reports of disorder in Shustoke Road at just before 21:25 BST on Saturday. Officers found a man in his 40s in the street with serious injuries; he was confirmed dead at the scene.

A 35-year-old woman was also arrested, on suspicion of assisting an offender. Both remain in custody for questioning.

A police presence continues in the area as investigators examine the circumstances of the man's death. "Our thoughts are with his loved ones and we'll be offering our support to them at this devastating time," a West Midlands Police spokesperson said.
