Hillsborough County detectives arrested three people after recovering drugs at a Mango home and a nearby hotel. A third suspect was wanted on felony warrants from Kentucky and West Virginia.

Drug operation near Seffner nets three arrests

Three people were arrested after Hillsborough County detectives executed search warrants at a residential property and a hotel room near Seffner, fox13news.com reports. The operation recovered illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia at both locations, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office (HCSO).

The investigation centred on suspected firearms and narcotics activity in the area. Around noon on Thursday, detectives served the warrant at a home in the Mango neighbourhood, where they found narcotics and related paraphernalia.

Timothy Shamblin, 60, and Kristen Caroway, 37, were arrested at the property following the search, HCSO said.

During the operation, detectives established that the primary target of the investigation was staying at a nearby hotel. Shortly before 2 p.m., John Sattler II, 36, was arrested at that location.

Sattler was subject to outstanding felony warrants from Kentucky and West Virginia, and faced additional drug charges following the hotel search, according to the sheriff's office. Detectives recovered further narcotics from his room.
