An 18-year-old was arrested in Concordia after posting a photo with a revolver on Instagram. Weapons and ammunition were seized.

According to diarioriouruguay.com, the operation was carried out around 20:30 last Friday, after police officers detected a photograph on Instagram in which a firearm was being displayed.
Investigative work resulted in a judicial search warrant being issued for a residence located on Nieves street at number 900, in the city of Concordia.
During the procedure, a .38 Special calibre revolver was seized, three cartridges of the same calibre and two 12/70 calibre cartridges.
An 18-year-old was arrested and charged with the alleged crime of illegal possession of a firearm.
The operation was carried out with the knowledge of the prosecuting fiscal, Dr Natalia Conti.
