Accused in murder of cadet Kevin Rueda transferred to Benjamín Paz prison
The two men accused of the murder of Kevin Samuel Rueda, a young police cadet, were transferred to the Benjamín Paz penitentiary complex in Tucumán.

The two men detained for the murder of Kevin Samuel Rueda, a young police cadet who died over the weekend in the southern area of San Miguel de Tucumán, were transferred to the Benjamín Paz penitentiary complex, where they remain at the disposal of the judiciary, according to reports from elocho.tv.
The transfer began with a significant deployment of officers outside the First Police Station, where the accused had been held. Agents from the Investigation Brigade, motorised personnel and various operational areas of the Tucumán Police force participated, together with superior authorities of the force.
A police commissioner in charge of the operation explained that coverage was designed to ensure the transfer was carried out with security and in compliance with directives from superiors and orders from the judiciary.
The movement of the detainees also prompted a special traffic operation in the vicinity of the police station. Temporary traffic closures were planned on San Martín and Monteagudo as the convoy of vehicles transporting the accused advanced.
The chief of the Tucumán Police, Joaquín Girvau, had previously confirmed that both were placed at the disposal of the judiciary and noted that the accused had criminal records.
With entry to Benjamín Paz, the two charged individuals are now housed in a penitentiary facility whilst the judicial investigation continues to determine the circumstances of the murder and the responsibilities that correspond to each of them.
