A 37-year-old woman from the Mühlviertel caused a rear-end collision in Aigen-Schlägl (Rohrbach district) on Wednesday evening and subsequently called the police emergency number herself. According to news.joyn.at, the attending officers immediately recognised that the woman was intoxicated at the scene of the accident.
The breath test carried out thereafter produced a reading of 3.12 per cent. Police confirmed the incident on Thursday.
No one was injured in the accident. However, the 37-year-old lost her driving licence on the spot.
