Vehicle check in Tamsweg ends with multiple charges

As salzburg24.at reports, police officers stopped a 24-year-old car driver in the Tamsweg (Lungau) area on Friday evening and conducted a check. The officers immediately noticed clear signs of impairment.

A breath test came back negative, but a drugs saliva test returned a positive result. During a subsequent vehicle search, police officers seized cannabis.

The man refused to accompany officers for a clinical examination. Police officers were unable to confiscate his driving licence on the spot – the Croatian citizen simply does not hold a driving licence. Multiple charges were filed against him.
