According to bvz.at, two men climbed through a forced bedroom window into a house in Styria at midday. The perpetrators searched several rooms and took gold jewellery and gold coins with a total value of several thousand euros.
During the burglary, the two were surprised by the homeowner. They then fled in the direction of Slovenia. The Styrian police pursued the fleeing burglars and were able to stop them.
