Arrest at Eupen station: illegal residence, drugs and mobile phone stolen in Berlin
A man illegally resident, under the influence of narcotics and carrying a mobile phone stolen in Berlin, was arrested on Wednesday at Eupen station.

According to DHnet, the Vesdre-Gueule police zone stopped a man at Eupen station on Wednesday 3 June 2026 who was apparently under the influence of narcotics. Officers quickly established that he was illegally resident on Belgian territory.
During a search, police discovered several mobile phones in his possession. One of them had been stolen in Berlin. The man was remanded in custody.
On the same day, the Vesdre-Gueule zone conducted a traffic check in La Calamine. Two vehicles were immobilised for failing to have proper insurance.
