Six arrests and two cannabis plantations dismantled following pursuit of vehicle with four kilograms of cannabis
A pursuit of a fleeing vehicle in Brussels led to the discovery of four kilograms of cannabis. Further investigation resulted in seven house searches, six arrests and the dismantling of two plantations with a total of 1,150 plants.

A police check in late 2025 resulted in a pursuit through Brussels. Officers wanted to pull over a vehicle, but the driver fled. Shortly afterwards, the vehicle was eventually stopped. During the check, law enforcement found four kilograms of cannabis in the vehicle. The two occupants were immediately arrested.
The local drugs unit took over the case. After months of investigation, the investigating judge had sufficient grounds to issue seven search warrants. On Tuesday 23 June 2026, police units conducted raids at various addresses.
The operation resulted in six arrests. Two of them were placed in preventative custody, the other four were released on conditions. During the searches, officers discovered two cannabis cultivation facilities: one in Ixelles and one in La Louvière. Together, the plantations contained 1,150 cannabis plants.
In addition, police seized a car, as well as thirty grams of cocaine and €5,200 in cash.
