Seven years' imprisonment for gang rape of 15-year-old on car park in Evere
Ahmed J. and Khaled T. have been sentenced to seven years' imprisonment for the gang rape of a 15-year-old girl on a car park in Evere. Two minor accomplices are still to appear before a judge.

On 10 May 2025, a 15-year-old from Andenne left with a boy she had met via social media. He drove her to Evere, accompanied by three friends, two of whom were minors.
The victim was forced to inhale nitrous oxide balloons. Ahmed J. and Khaled T., both only 18 years old, locked the girl in the boot of a car parked on a car park in Evere, out of sight of passers-by. The two young men raped her and filmed the abuse, at Khaled T.'s instigation. They then called Ahmed J.'s younger brother, also a minor, so that he and the final suspect could also have sexual contact with the victim.
At daybreak, the perpetrators dropped the girl off at Brussels-North station. They paid for her train ticket to get home.
A few weeks ago, Ahmed J. still said he "deserved death" for his actions. The 54th chamber of Brussels' correctional court ultimately ruled otherwise and imposed a seven-year prison sentence on him, supplemented by five years under the supervision of the criminal execution court. Khaled T. received an identical sentence.
The two minors were recently released. Proceedings against them are ongoing and could result in the case being transferred from juvenile court to an adult court.
"Everyone acknowledged that she was no longer clear-headed because of the nitrous oxide. She found herself in a group of boys, in a different city from her own," the judges said in their reasoning on the use of force. "They behaved like a pack of wolves towards the victim, without any respect."
After a brief discussion, the two adult defendants were led away in handcuffs to the prison where they have been held since last year. They have one month in which to file an appeal.
