Cuban arrested in Cancún with 102 drug doses and counterfeit notes
A Cuban citizen was detained in Cancún with more than 100 doses of marijuana and crystal, as well as counterfeit banknotes. The Quintana Roo District Attorney's Office assumed the case.

A Cuban citizen identified as Jesús Moisés was arrested in Cancún following an operation in which authorities seized 102 doses of suspected drugs and banknotes believed to be counterfeit, reported cubanoticias360.com.
The arrest took place on Calle 8 in Benito Juárez municipality. The Orión Group carried out the operation in coordination with elements of the National Defence, the Navy Secretariat and the National Guard, according to a report from the Quintana Roo Citizen Security Secretariat.
Agents observed the suspect while handling small bags containing a substance with characteristics similar to marijuana, which prompted his detention and subsequent search.
During the procedure, 77 doses of suspected marijuana and 25 of a substance with characteristics similar to crystal were seized, for a total of 102 packages. Also found were 1,420 Mexican pesos in banknotes of various denominations allegedly counterfeit.
Jesús Moisés, also accused of alleged involvement in robberies at commercial establishments, was placed at the disposal of the Specialist District Attorney's Office for Combating Drug Dealing of Quintana Roo, along with the seized substances and money. That institution will continue investigations and determine his legal status.
The case adds to recent detentions of Cuban citizens in the same state for alleged drug-related offences, including that of Carlos Alejandro, 33 years old, arrested in similar circumstances.
