A 23-year-old man was arrested in Ayia Napa with 20 canisters of nitrous oxide and inhalation equipment in his vehicle.

A 23-year-old man was detained in Ayia Napa following a vehicle check carried out by officers from MMAD.
The incident occurred at approximately 2 p.m., when police stopped a car on a road in the tourist area. In the search that followed, 20 canisters containing nitrous oxide (laughing gas) were found inside the vehicle, as well as eight balloons and one inhalation device.
The young man is accused of possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply it to a third party. The Police Station in the area is conducting further investigations.
