Limassol Police Authority brought in a 39-year-old man on a court warrant as part of an investigation into theft, unlawful possession of items and receiving stolen goods.

39-year-old held in custody in Limassol over theft cases

A 39-year-old man was brought in yesterday by Limassol Police Authority following a warrant issued by the court. His arrest is connected with the investigation of a criminal case that includes charges for theft, unlawful possession of items and receiving stolen goods.

The 39-year-old is being held to facilitate investigations being carried out by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the district. The authorities estimate that the offences were committed on 22 June of the current year.

As part of the same investigation, a second person, aged 28, had been arrested on 24 June. The investigations by Limassol CID are continuing for full clarification of the case.
