A 36-year-old man appeared before the Permanent Criminal Court of Larnaca, facing charges relating to the abduction of two women and intimidation with a sharp object. The incident was recorded at a residence in the city of Larnaca in March 2026.
The 36-year-old remains in custody. The charges he faces include, amongst others, abduction of persons with intent to restrict them, abduction with intent to cause bodily harm, threats of violent behaviour, assault with intent to cause bodily harm, exercise of psychological violence, carrying a blade, as well as unlawful entry into a place.
The next hearing has been scheduled for 16 July, at which time the accused is expected to state whether he accepts or rejects the charges brought against him.
