A bomb explosion occurred at 3:30 am at the entrance of a two-storey building in Limassol, causing material damage to the building's facade and a nearby vehicle. The building houses a cultural centre and youth organisation.
According to Police Press Officer Michalis Michail, the building belongs to EDON, the youth wing of AKEL. The area has been cordoned off and is being guarded to facilitate investigations.
Authorities are examining footage from closed-circuit surveillance cameras in order to identify the perpetrators.
