Limassol court has ordered the seven-day remand in custody of a 25-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man as part of an investigation into the theft of a bronze sculpture and a stolen car in late June.

Authorities found the couple inside a stolen vehicle during a patrol in the Limassol area. Their arrest came following a tip-off that linked the two individuals to an ongoing investigation into a bronze sculpture theft that was committed in the city on 24 June.

After their arrest, the suspects were brought before the court, which approved the police's request for a seven-day remand in custody.
