Armed bakery robbery in Larnaca: Two young men in custody
Two individuals aged 19 and 20 were taken into custody by Cypriot authorities for a bakery robbery in the early hours of Friday.

In the early hours of Friday, at approximately 3:30, an unknown hooded individual entered a bakery in Larnaca. The perpetrator threatened an employee and attempted to take the drawer from the till.
The employee, with assistance from a colleague, attempted to stop the would-be thief. Nevertheless, the perpetrator managed to escape, taking with him the drawer containing 300 euros. Outside the shop, another man was waiting for him on a motorbike. The two of them left together.
Police investigations led to the arrest of two individuals, aged 19 and 20. During the investigations, items relating to the incident were found. The two individuals are expected to be brought before a judge for the issue of a detention order.
