A hooded man burst into a bakery in Limassol in the early morning, removed the contents of the cash register and escaped with an accomplice who was waiting outside on a motorcycle.

An armed robbery was committed in the early morning at a bakery in Limassol, with the perpetrators seizing the contents of the cash register and fleeing in an unknown direction by motorcycle.

According to information reported by Philenews, at approximately 3:30 in the morning, an employee of a delivery company who was at the bakery noticed an unknown man inside the shop. The suspect had covered his facial features with a hood and attempted to remove the drawer from the cash register.

The delivery driver, with the help of a bakery employee, attempted to immobilise the intruder. However, the perpetrator managed to escape, taking with him the cash register drawer which contained €300.

Outside the shop, a second person was waiting on a motorcycle. The two perpetrators left together with the motorcycle. The direction of their escape remains unknown.

The Limassol Crime Investigation Department is conducting an investigation to identify and apprehend those responsible.
